About Ray
RAY PARR spent his twenties moving between port cities, working the kinds of jobs—night shifts, dock work, a spell translating for people who couldn’t read the forms in front of them—that put him in rooms with strangers and left no easy way out of the conversation. He began writing short fiction to hold on to the people he met and left behind, and he writes in both English and Spanish. He now lives inland and writes mostly at night. “Ray Parr” is a pseudonym.
